Architectural Services

The typical and professional services that we provide to our clients during the architectural design process are as follows:

Initial Consultation

This consist of a meeting between the architect and the client. This allows the client to cease the opportunity to discuss his project and assess the architect’s fit for his needs and not to worry about paying any fees. However, fees may apply if your discussion with the architect leads to brainstorming ideas or sketches.

Pre-Design

Project scope, site & zoning analysis, project goals, Building program, project budgeting & the project schedule are information collected by SWWorShop to conduct the design. Any fees from the client is required in this process.

Schematic Design

SWWorkShop uses the  information gathered during pre-design phase to lock down a configuration of the building without developing details yet. The firm will use AutoDesk Revit as a modeling and production tool achieve the architectural design process.

Design Development

At this phase, the firm will provide developed and detailed plans including sections and elevations to the client. The architect will also work with the owner to select materials including interior finishes, openings & lighting fixtures.

Construction Documents

this is the largest phase of the project where working construction drawings and specifications are provided to the client for  permitting and the realization of the project. Construction documents are precise information and directions given to builders to manifest the architect’s ideas.

Construction Administration

Finally, we will frequently visit the construction site to follow the progress of the project; ensure that the contractor is following the plans, specifications and answer questions and provide additional information if needed.
